Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Your role

At Mobility Concept, we develop software that enables organizations to manage mobility schemes, travel cards and payments within a rapidly growing network of providers. Our platform integrates with HR systems, payment networks and mobility providers to process travel and mobility transactions in real time.

In this role, you will design, develop, maintain and implement our .NET / Azure platform within the backend, front-end and cloud infrastructure, contribute to architectural decisions, review your colleagues’ work and mentor junior colleagues.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design and build new features for the backend, frontend and cloud infrastructure, as well as API integrations with third-party systems and payment providers
  • Write automated tests to validate and verify your results
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to automatically deploy our software
  • Work with product managers and partners to design features and integrations and expand our platform’s ecosystem
  • Continuously improve your AI skills and use them to optimise your own work, and share your insights to improve your colleagues’ work

Our platform is mainly built using:

  • .NET / C#
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • ReactJS (front-end)
  • Microsoft Azure

We constantly keep an eye on new technologies and adopt them pragmatically when they add real value.

What you bring in

  • 8+ years’ experience in building production-level software
  • Extensive experience with .NET, SQL Server and modern web technologies
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Experience in designing and developing APIs and integrations
  • A desire to boost productivity by utilising new tools (e.g. AI)
  • A strong awareness of secure development practices
  • Dutch as your first language and an excellent command of English

You like to combine architectural thinking with hands-on development.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:

  • Software development in fintech, banking or payment systems
  • Building or scaling SaaS platforms
  • Migrating systems to public cloud environments
  • Integrating AI capabilities into software platforms

The procedure

During the recruitment process, you will have three interviews so that we can get to know each other well. We start with an initial interview. This is followed by a technical interview with the engineering team and a final interview with management. If we both want to move forward, we will also ask you to provide a reference and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
